Coach Drew's Water Cup Challenge
Are you looking for a fun challenge to do outside? Coach Drew shares a fun challenge that helps you work your core muscles and focus on body awareness. Start by laying down on the ground, place the cup of water on your forehead, and try to stand up. How many tries does it take you to get all the way up without spilling the water? What muscle group do you feel working the most in this exercise? What other fun challenges would you like to see to keep your body STRONG ?

Erupting Volcanoes
Is there anything more fun that combining vinegar and baking soda and watching the chemical reaction bubble, fizz, and explode? Making volcanoes is always a girl favorite and here Jennifer teaches us about volcanoes and what causes them to erupt, as well as how we can make our own volcano eruption at home.

What ratio of baking soda to vinegar creates the biggest eruption? What combination makes the eruption last the longest?

Literacy is Fun!
Do you know what a homophone is? Homophones are words that sound the same but are usually spelled differently and have different meanings. In this video, Autumn reads "The Old Man and His Door" by Gary Soto, in which el viejo brings la puerta to a picnic instead of el puerco. They sound similar, but have very different meanings.

What funny sentences can you create using homophones?

Attention Families:  Cox has extended free Connect2Compete service, the company’s low-cost internet offer for families with a K-12 student at home, until July 15. Families can qualify for Connect2Compete by visiting  www.cox.com/c2c .
WE ARE BOLD

Did you know you can sprout and avocado pit that will eventually turn into a new avocado tree? Stephanie shows us how to take an avocado pit and prepare it to sprout. After getting your pit ready make sure to check on it, add new water as needed, and keep track of its growth and changes.

Create a Gratitude Journal
Do you have a feeling that's visiting today? Can you open your door and invite it to play? In this video, Julia reads "Visiting Feelings" written by Lauren J. Rubenstein and illustrated by Shelly Hehenberger. After reading the book, Julia invites you to create a gratitude journal to help you process the feelings that are visiting you.

What are you grateful for today? How does it feel in your body when you think about gratitude?
