Two young Kettle Moraine Middle School historians are now state champions and represented our school, our community, and our state at the national competition for National History Day the week of June 13. Approximately 10,000 students participate in the National History Day competition each year across the state.
At the state level, Krin Blegen's project, "Sending A Message: How Postcards Communicated Terror to a Race of Americans," took first place in the individual documentary category, and Emma Manion's, "Dickey Chapelle: Communicating the Truth of War and the Challenges of Being a female War Correspondent," took first in the individual performance category!
