2025 Ignat Cup

On April 5th, the third annual Ignat Cup was held at Middlebury Indoor Tennis. The Middlebury Union High School Boys Tennis team has organized this event to give their players match play experience in advance of their season. In an exciting match up, the MIT's team bested the boys this year in a 4-3 win. Thank you to all who participated and cheered on the players! (Dan Ober prepares to serve an ace! Congratulations!

Congratulations to Sophia Boise and Jackson Murray, two of MIT's junior staff, who will graduate from MUHS in June. Both Sophia and Jackson have been dedicated teaching pros and have worked with many of MIT's young players. They are familiar faces at the club and will be missed!! Jackson will attend St. Lawrence University and compete on the school's tennis team. Sophia will also attend St. Lawrence University and is considering trying out for the tennis team. We wish them well as they embark on a new chapter of their lives.

It's Here!
