"Love Rejoices in the Truth"

SSCA Give Day - Friday, February 13th

From Mr. Dagley

Head of School

Over 2,000 years ago, Pilate asked a question that still echoes today: “What is truth?” In today’s culture, phrases like “find your truth” suggest that truth is relative, changing from person to person. Scripture teaches us something very different: truth is not created by us, it is revealed by God.

The same shift has happened with the word love, which is frequently redefined to fit cultural preferences rather than God’s design. When truth and love are separated from God, they lose their meaning. That is why, in a world filled with moral gray, it is more important than ever for schools like SSCA to stand firmly on the unchanging Word of God.

For this reason, we have chosen “Love rejoices in the truth” as the theme for our 2026 Giving Campaign. For more than 30 years, much has changed at SSCA - our technology, facilities, and programs - but one thing has never changed: Christ remains our true North. When we drift, His truth corrects our course.

Our foundation is built on Christ alone, and we invite you to partner with us as we continue to stand boldly on the truth of His Word.
