Dear Friend,

Because of the generous support of donors like you, our girls know their self-worth and have access to the tools to help build foundations for successful futures. Thank you for being in their corner.

But there is still much work to be done to close the gender equality gap and the education equity disparities that exist. Add to these challenges the youth mental health crisis, and it is evident that our girls need you now more than ever.

At Girls Inc. we provide programming to address real-life challenges that hold girls back from realizing their potential. We intentionally outreach to girls and teens who need us most, including girls who are most susceptible to the opportunity gap. And no girl is ever turned away due to her family’s financial needs.

Won’t you help us continue these vital programs by donating today? Your gift provides the resources that give girls and teens a fighting chance to realize their dreams. Every girl we empower today brings us one step closer to gender equality and education equity.

Help ensure year-long support by making your donation recurring.

Thank you for giving girls the fighting chance they deserve and inspiring them to be strong, smart, and bold.

With immense gratitude,
Sarah Burton
Chief Executive Officer

For the past 12 years, our Eureka! teen achievement program has engaged teens who do not have ready access to opportunities such as academic and vocational education, career preparation,
college planning and applications, and confidence building. Many of our Eureka! graduates are the first in their family to attend college.

Our teen G.E.M.S. program addresses the social emotional needs of our youth. Because of the success of G.E.M.S. with our elementary girls and by request of the Alameda Unified School District, we have extended it to teens at Alameda’s middle and high schools this school year.

“My peers and mentors gave me the tools and qualities I needed to be successful. Taught by unique experiences to be smart. Shown by mentors to be strong. Inspired by my peers to be bold. Through Girls Inc. I have gained the mentality and tools that will help me become one of the strong, smart, and bold women that I admire.”
