Perhaps you have attempted to contact the last cacher to log your Travel Bug and ask them to drop it to get it back in the game. Or maybe you are lucky enough to have a few Travel Bugs with a bunch of miles.

Come and share ideas, hints, disappointments, and comradery! Please join us even if you don't have any active Travel Bugs!

Bring Bugs you'd like to trade, bring bugs to be discovered. You get the idea. Bring a list of your currently activated and travelling TB's. The TB with the most miles will get a prize! Gone But Not Forgotten:

Lost Treasures in the Hudson Valley
Friday, November 13th @ 6pm

Cover of the book "Gone But Not Forgotten: Lost Treasures in the Hudson Valley" by Anthony Musso.

Join us to welcome back local historian and author Anthony Musso, as he discusses many famed local sites that no longer exist but have become part of our region's history, based on his new book, GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN: Lost Treasures in the Hudson Valley.

New York’s Hudson Valley played a significant role in early American industry, vintage entertainment, world-class lodging, and the American Revolution. Through the years, some operations became outdated, lacked the funds to continue, or simply deteriorated. Others suffered the impact of what was known as “urban renewal,” a process that promised progress but stole municipalities of long beloved structures.

While some of the 62 sites featured in this book are now gone, the remnants of others still stand in various forms of decay. Each one played an important part in the history of the Hudson Valley. As such, they are forever “Gone but not forgotten!”
