Each summer, CAN ensures our campers have nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day to stay energized! In previous years, we leveraged parterships to provide a portion of the meals we served. This year is different and we are so excited about it! For the very first time, CAN will be planning and preparing each meal and snack on site at each of our summer camps!

This change will provide so many benefits to our campers!

Campers will be MORE involved with the process of choosing what foods they'd like to eat and the preparation of their meals and snacks!

CAN will be able to better ensure we are feeding our campers nutritious foods that are also delicious!

Campers and staff will be able to enjoy meals and snacks together more often which builds healthy relationships!

Donations to CAN help us continue operating all of the vital programs and services we offer! This summer, we will be directly purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables, protein, energizing snacks, and more to feed campers each day. CAN anticipates spending up to $22,000 on meals and snacks this summer. Here's a breakdown of the cost to feed a camper 3 times a day...
