Many local organizations are accepting online donations now! The Cathedral is highlighting two programs that provide outreach to our downtown community.
Feed My Neighbor is a program of the Sandefur Dining Room located at the Cathedral of the Assumption where responding to the needs of the hungry population in downtown Louisville began during the Great Depression. Today, the program provides nourishing meals and gentle compassion 365 days a year to an average of 65,000 hungry and homeless men, women and children. We never close.
Our signature fundraiser, Let’s Dance Louisville, was postponed until 2021, yet our mission of serving the less fortunate each day continues. Your help is needed now more than ever.

Thank you!

Central Louisville Community Ministries and how you can help

The Cathedral of the Assumption has been a member church of Central Louisville Community Ministries (CLCM) for 52 years - one of the founding churches. CLCM provides emergency rent and utility assistance to low-income residents in our downtown neighborhood, in addition to maintaining a food pantry, a clothes closet, and a personal care closet. CLCM gratefully accepts volunteers, and donations of food, clothes, and personal care items. And on Thursday Sept 17, CLCM is participating in Give for Good to accept online monetary donations: for 24 hours that day you can click here to donate.

You can also check out CLCM’s Facebook page at 3:30pm Thursday Sept 17 to see a short video featuring our own Anne Ratterman, filmed in the side courtyard. CLCM’s goal is to have 90 donors, and even a $5-10 donation helps!
