The Logan Square Farmers Market takes place along Logan Blvd from Milwaukee to Whipple.
Market entrance is on the southeast corner of Logan & Milwaukee.
Dear community,

Thanks for your support and patience with us these first few weeks as we adapt to this new market experience. We're all starting to get the swing of things by now. Week 3 of market season this year brings us: berries of all kinds, bok choy, cherries, sugar snap peas, sunflowers, zucchini and so much more.

We've also invited 6 more non-farmer vendors to our line up this week. Welcome back: Brunkow Cheese, Central Pickling, Karl's Craft Soups, Montelimar Bread, Twisted Olive, and Underground Meats! All food vendors have SNAP/EBT-eligible products, and accept various types of payment. Vendors hyperlinked in blue accept pre-orders. In case you missed it-- Important Market Guidelines

Unless you are at high risk, please do not visit the market before 10am . Respect the priority shopping hour for those at high risk of COVID-19, this includes: seniors, pregnant parents, and immunocompromised populations.

Masks are required for entry and while waiting in line to enter. If you do not have one the first week, we will provide you with a disposable mask. Customers are also required to wash their hands or sanitize via the info booth on their way in.

All customers must enter on the Southeast corner of Logan/Milwaukee , and must walk through the entire market site and exit at Whipple. Entry/exit at any other point is prohibited, See map below.

Expect to wait in line to enter the market, even if you pre-ordered. In order to help us maintain a safe number of customers in the market at once.

Limit your shopping party to 1-2 healthy shoppers per household . Shoppers must be free of any covid-19 symptoms .

Absolutely no product touching of any kind, vendors will select items for you.  Reusable bags are welcome, however vendors will not be able to handle them.
Only 100 shoppers will be allowed in the market at once. Prepare a shopping list to help make your market visit as speedy as possible by and by pre-ordering from vendors below Your total shopping time should be no longer than 30min, please be mindful as others are waiting.

Do not linger or socialize or plan to meet others in groups, think of the market as an outdoor grocery store.  Market volunteers and staff will be throughout the market ensuring proper social distancing requirements are met.

No pets are allowed inside the market footprint , service animals are welcome.

We are no longer accepting compost drop-offs, but you can still sign up for a pick up service with our friends at Healthy Soil Compost.
 
The market will consist of farmers exclusively for the first few weeks, and will introduce bakeries and other value-added vendors slowly in the season. We will not be inviting any Prepared Food Vendors of any kind this year, however you can still shop and support many of them via our Virtual Market   here .

Customers who fail to comply with expectations will be asked to leave. Violations of these rules may put us at risk for losing our permit and being forced to shut down. Changes will be made as needed and announced in the newsletter.
Volunteer with us!
Our market wouldn't be possible without the help of our rockstar team of volunteers. Week after week, they show up for us and we are eternally grateful, but we still need more help!

We are expected to need about 10-12 volunteers each market day to be able to properly open with all of necessary guidelines. If you haven't already reviewed our new policy, please do so  here .

Volunteer shifts allow for social distancing, we will provide PPE (including face shield if you'd like), and shifts are 2.5 hours. Roles include: linekeepers, assisting with the check in booth, tallying customers, and ensuring the market perimeters are secure. Sign up for a shift here .
