Thanksgiving Wine Weekend on the Oregon Farm Loop
Having Oregon wine at the Thanksgiving table is always important but did you know many of the local vineyards and wineries are open that weekend for specials and events the whole family will be impressed by? Below is a list of Oregon Farm Loop wine producers who will add extra cheer to your holiday season!
  • Pete's Mountain Vineyard and Winery - Thanksgiving Open House on Nov. 29 is the perfect time to take in amazing Willamette Valley views and delicious vineyard offerings.
  • Terra Vina Wines - At both the vineyard and McMinville tasting room, enjoy big reds and new releases accompanied by delicious cheese, olives and bread Nov. 29 through Dec. 1.
  • twill cellars - These sweeping vineyard views on Saturdays and Sundays pair well this holiday season with a glass... or two.
  • Forest Edge Vineyard - On Saturdays and Sundays sample award-winning table and desert wines that are delicious, refreshing and affordable.
  • Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm and Vineyard- is celebrating National Tempranillo Month all November with discounts. Nov. 29 is their Black Friday Special.
  • Honeywood Winery - Open daily for flights, wine purchases and lovely gift items conveniently located in Salem.
  • Piluso Winery - Light food pairings and holiday specials for the three day Thanksgiving weekend make this the perfect afternoon destination.
  • Pudding River Wine Cellars - Enjoy their Thanksgiving Open House and the beautiful countryside and barn that go with it Nov. 29 to Dec. 1.
  • Scenic Valley Farms - Spend Sundays on this family farm sipping wine and viewing the antique tractor collection.
  • Vitis Ridge Winery - Open Thanksgiving weekend for tastings and purchase of award-winning wine outside the charming town of Silverton.
  • Willamette Valley Vineyards - Look out over breathtaking valley views while listening to music and enjoying a flight during their Thanksgiving Weekend Wine Celebration.

The gift shop is full of one of kind, handmade, made in Oregon, made in the USA, treasures. Find something unique for everyone on your list! Nov. 14, 6:30 pm to 8 pm
Come enjoy a relaxing and fun evening with tons of shopping! Lots of sales and complimentary gift wrapping with purchase all evening long. Bring the gals and get a jump on the holiday shopping season. More info here

Local produce, craft vendors, prepared side dishes, and holiday essentials that will make your Thanksgiving dinner perfect! The Clackamas Fire Department's Operation Santa Claus will also be collecting new toys. More info here

'Tis the season for local, Oregon Christmas trees
A fresh cut, Oregon Christmas trees is something to celebrate. Nothing says November is here quite like the hustle and bustle of tree farms. On the Oregon Farm Loop, the below farms are willing to help you and your family find the perfect tree to make the holidays extra bright!
  • Frog Pond Farm - This family run farm is an amazing holiday experience for the entire family. Get a cup of coffee, cocoa or cider before you head out to select your perfect tree. There is also an animal barn full of fun animals... including a camel! The farm store is also full of special gifts made from many local businesses and artists.
  • Bauman's Farm and Garden - Make getting your Christmas tree a family event on the farm! Fresh trees, fire pit with s'mores on weekends, animal barn, bakery, wreaths, and lots of holiday decor. Don't miss the annual Holiday Open House Nov. 23
  • E.Z. Orchards Farm Market - A great selection of fresh trees, holiday greens and wreaths right outside of Salem. Get your fresh fruit, produce, gourmet foods, wine, and gifts right there on the family farm!
