Friday, Nov. 6, 6-9 p.m. @ The Club at 12 Oaks

Gather your friends and get ready to enjoy hors d'oeuvres and elegant desserts crafted by 12 Oaks chefs, local wine and craft beer tastings, silent and live auctions for unique items and experiences, and so much more, all to benefit the Holly Springs Food Cupboard.

Grapes, Grains & Giving, hosted by the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce, is this Friday, Nov. 6, 6-9 p.m. at the Club at 12 Oaks.

Every ticket purchased helps keep Cupboard shelves stocked and ensures local families have reliable access to the food they need.

Give the Gift of a Thanksgiving Meal Kit

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we are making our final push to ensure every family can enjoy a warm, traditional holiday feast! The Holly Springs Food Cupboard is on a mission to deliver complete Thanksgiving meal packages to 500 families in our community, and there is still time for you to make a direct impact.

Sponsoring a family's holiday dinner is simple, meaningful, and deeply appreciated:

  1. Sign Up: Reserve your spot to sponsor one or more meal packages.
  2. Fill Your Box: Pack a sturdy box with all the classic fixings from our Thanksgiving shopping list (from stuffing and gravy to canned vegetables and baking mixes).
  3. Drop Off: Deliver your completed box to the Food Cupboard during your scheduled time slot.

Help us set the table for our neighbors this season!

A Decade of Hope & 66,949 Pounds of Food

Thank You 12 Oaks & Sheri Reed

When a community comes together, the impact is extraordinary. Last month, the 12 Oaks neighborhood collected a whopping 8,535 pounds of food during its annual food drive, bringing its 10-year total to an astonishing 66,949 pounds for local families in need!

Behind this incredible decade of success is Sheri Reed, who has poured her heart into leading this drive from day one. As Sheri steps down, the Cupboard wants to express our gratitude for her tireless leadership, compassion, and the countless lives she has touched across Holly Springs.

Many thanks to Courtney Freeman, who will be carrying the neighborhood's tradition forward.

To every 12 Oaks neighbor who donated, sorted, or spread the word over the last decade: thank you for showing what it truly means to love your neighbors!

Thank You, CSL Seqirus!

Many thanks to the volunteers from CSL Seqirus who spent a workday at the Cupboard last month! Some served in the garden while others served inside, bagging produce and helping with distribution. Seqirus also donated all needed supplies to complete the outside work. Thank you so much!

Cupboard Garden

Thank You, Garden Volunteers!

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped in the garden last month, as well as the people and businesses who support our work to provide fresh, organically grown produce to the families we serve.

Pictured above is a donation from Coast of Maine Organic Products - 10 cubic feet of organic raised bed mix soil, with local pickup made easy by Country Farm and Home in Pittsboro. Thank you!

Also pictured is the Jones family. Many thanks for the donation of a 4-claw weed puller. This tool will help save backaches down the road and keep some weeds under control!
