Dear Kiki,

I’m probably not the first to remind you – Giving Tuesday is coming right up.

I love the concept of Giving Tuesday. It aligns so well with Resilient Neighborhoods’ purpose.

Giving Tuesday inspires people to come together to create a better world and balance our culture’s unhealthy consumerism, by creating a day to contribute to what we each value.

Please help us get a head start on Giving Tuesday by donating to support Resilient Neighborhoods’ local climate action work today. Your donations will be doubled – up to $25,000 – by an anonymous donor.

Resilient Neighborhoods’ effective Climate Action Workshop is recognized statewide. Our program not only informs people about climate change but really helps them change their everyday behavior and lifestyles.

More than 1,800 people have graduated from our program, and all have made changes to live more lightly on the earth. Our program helps them cut greenhouse gas emissions, conserve energy and water, and make better purchasing decisions. At the same time, our graduates are reweaving the fabric of their neighborhoods.

Can I count on you to give for Giving Tuesday, to support this important work? (You can give today to get a head start!)

Your generosity will make it possible for Resilient Neighborhoods to continue to offer our five-session climate action workshop for free. And your support will help roll out new online tools and support so we can support and accompany our graduates on their journey toward a “carbon neutral household” by 2030.

If you can, please donate to Resilient Neighborhoods for Giving Tuesday for effective, local, and hopeful climate action. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Tamra Peters

Founder and Executive Director

PS – Your donation will be doubled through a generous match by an anonymous donor! Please give today.

Your donation to Resilient Neighborhoods is fully tax-deductible.
