Greetings!

"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith;
be courageous; be strong."
-1 Corinthians 16:13

Fathers are the protectors, providers, and spiritual leaders of the family. They are meant to be a reflection of God, Our Heavenly Father.

Usually, dads are the ones who perform the tough tasks - like disciplining us when we're wrong, teaching us the practical things about daily living (changing the oil, mowing the grass, etc.), and helping us to be courageous when challenges face us (letting go of the bike when the training wheels come off or bucking us up during our first broken bone).

Sometimes, however, our father was not available to us. In these circumstances a spiritual father – perhaps a grandfather, uncle, teacher, or godfather – provided that masculine presence in our life.

Strong fathers and spiritual fathers are needed now more than ever.

That is why our next special Novena of Masses is for all fathers – biological and spiritual, living or deceased - who have led us and guided us, protected us, and provided for us, as well as for those who have not. Our friend, Reverend Msgr. Sebastian Odong, a priest of the Archdiocese of Gulu, Northern Uganda, will celebrate this special Novena of Masses, beginning on Father's Day, Sunday, June 19th.
I invite you to use the link below to send me the names of your fathers, grandfathers, uncles, in-laws, godfathers, spiritual fathers, and other loved ones so their spiritual or temporal needs may be remembered. In this way, we can truly honor and strengthen those who gift us with their spiritual strength, guidance, protection, and encouragement.

My prayer is that these Masses will be a source of grace, healing and new life for you and your families.

Thank you for joining us in this Novena of Masses.

With gratitude,
Johnnette and the Staff of Women of Grace
P.S. Should you desire to add a gift of support for these masses, you will receive in gratitude links to the Women of Grace television series, "Catholic Fatherhood: The Vision, Mission, and Purpose" with Jason Free and John Clark

P.P.S. Also available are Gregorian Masses, and single Masses for your deceased loved ones or special intentions. These Masses are personally arranged by Monsignor Matthew Odong, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Gulu in Northern Uganda. What greater gift could you offer your father than the gift of Holy Mass?
