Buzz Live Starring the GiveLocalNRV Giving Day June 25, 2025 at noon at the Lyric Theatre and livestreamed

Is your organization hosting an event this year for the Giving Day? Send the details our way! We have a running list of events on this page on our website and we'd love to share about yours.

The first event up this year will be this Saturday in Floyd, hosted by Springhouse. The CFNRV is also hosting an event at the Lyric Theatre to kick off the Giving Day at noon on June 25. Get all the details for that event here. We'd love for you to come watch us in-person or via the livestream!

Ask Lindsey Anything! Online Session

Wednesday, June 18 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Join Lindsey for this online session where she'll answer any question on your mind about this year's GiveLocalNRV Giving Day event. She'll review how to add offline donations and details on this year's grants and prizes, then answer all of your questions!

Submit a video about your work for a chance to win a Buzz Live episode! Send us a short video (no more than 30 seconds) with your elevator pitch about your work that includes:

who you are,
what you do, and
what you're raising money for during the GiveLocalNRV Giving Day

Two Far Away Donor Prizes in 2025

This year, we made changes to this prize by adding a second prize and making the prizes random chance drawings.

All online donations where the donor’s billing address is at least 2,000 miles away from the CFNRV office will be entered into a drawing to win. Donations can be made during the early giving period or the Giving Day itself.

Have You Participated in the Giving Day Before?

You can check out who has given to your organization in the past and/or view who has given to you so far this year by logging into the Giving Day website.

Once you are logged in, go to the "Reports" tab on the left-hand side of the page. Click on donations, then you can adjust the time period to look at previous years' data.

The system only lets you look at one year at a time, but all the info is there. You can learn more about pulling these reports in this Mightycause Support article.

Making Sure Supporters Give in the Right Place

Are you concerned that donors will give through your organization's website for the Giving Day?

We strongly recommend updating your website to direct folks to your Giving Day page! Add a note to your homepage and to the donation page to help them find the right place to give.

You can even add a GiveLocalNRV donation widget to your organization's website that will direct folks to your Giving Day page. Find out how to do that in this Mightycause Support article.
