GIVING CAMPAIGN HITS 100%

Stewardship Committee Asks Everyone To Participate
|
|
Our 2022 Giving Campaign, Will We Grow?, has completed its goal of $950,000.
|
|
With 100% of the goal already achieved, the Stewardship Committee is grateful for the response and asks that everyone join this campaign with a goal of 100% participation.
No gift is too small, and every dollar committed to the financial life of our church is important.
The possibility of exceeding our target, perhaps by a sizable amount, is now very real. Such an outcome would clearly demonstrate our collective belief in, and commitment to, the future of our church.
If you have not yet returned a printed Financial Commitment card, or filled out the companion online card, please prayerfully consider your gift for 2022 and make your commitment today.

SHORT FILM PLAYS TO AUDIENCE OF 900+
It's been called many things; chaos, community, magic. This year, after a two-year absence due to COVID-19, the Piedmont Church Mexico house building mission trip has a new name - Sanctuary.
Sanctuary Way, a short film by Michael Barber, has been watched in worship, on our website and our YouTube channel by an estimated 930 people. The film gets its name from the one-block area where all 12 houses were built.

Are you interested in joining Piedmont Church? Or, do you just want to learn more about who we are, what we believe and what we do? Then, you're invited to attend our next “Come and See” gathering hosted by Steve Schibsted and Don Ashburn on Sunday, June 5.
We’ll meet in Guild Parlor from 11:15am to 2pm for conversation and lunch provided by the church. We’ll share a bit about who we are and what brings us to Piedmont Church and how we can grow together in faith and service.

APPETIZERS IN THE COURTYARD
The Board of Deacons will sponsor an Adult Fellowship Appetizer Potluck on Saturday, May 21. The event will be held in the Courtyard from 5-7PM. Bring your favorite appetizer (finger food) to share, along with a beverage (wine or beer if you want).
This will be a chance for our church community to socialize with friends over great food and sip a glass of wine while getting to know new friends and relax under the warm California sun in a beautiful and spiritual setting. Come see how our new courtyard lights make for a magical evening of fun.
You can sign up after worship, call Jean Leahy in the church office (510) 547-5700 or just simply show up.

WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY
Join Don Ashburn each Wednesday morning from 10-11am on Zoom, as we journey together through the Book of Acts.
No preparation and no previous experience studying the Bible is needed. Just join us, as we learn how the early Christians lived their faith and spread the good news in very difficult times.
