Just a quick note to let you know that DCR has posted an employment opportunity for this summer for a Seasonal Park Interpreter for Ernestina.  The application deadline is May 2.

DCR's Park Serve Day was a great success with over 30 volunteers "showing Ernestina some love"  We expect to learn deatils of the May 12 work day at the Commission meeting this Friday, meanwhile, save the date.

Finally, DCR is expected to release the Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) for Ernestina as part of the Historic Curatorship Program this week. As soon as we have more information we will let you know.

Thank you for your interest in Ernestina/Effie M. Morrissey.  I know progress seems slow but it IS progress.  I think the next few months will be an exciting time for Ernestina's future!

Fair Winds,

Mary Anne
