Inspiring stories about how your investments make a difference in LCMS congregations across Texas.
As Thanksgiving approaches, Texas District Church Extension Fund has many reasons to give thanks.

We give thanks for our investors . They support our ministry every day by entrusting us with their investments. Investors make it possible to prayerfully, boldly and responsibly say “yes” to congregations who have a need for new land and buildings.

We give thanks for our congregations. What a wonderful partnership we have built with many of the LCMS congregations here in Texas. Whether it’s through a loan, a building fund, or a congregation savings. It is truly a blessing to work together to meet the needs of congregations and their communities.

We give thanks to God . It is through Him that all blessings flow. We thank Him for the wonderful history of our ministry. We pray that He continues to bless our service here at Texas District Church Extension Fund. We ask that He continue to guide us with His wisdom as we go into the new year.
"We at The Family of Faith Lutheran Church and Preschool thank God for the support of the Texas Church Extension Fund. TCEF is a true mission and ministry partner. Because of TCEF we are now operating two ministry locations with a preschool at each location. Soon 700 new homes will be built across the street from The Family of Faith–Miramesa (our newest location). We look forward to joining Jesus on His mission as we make connections for Christ with many of our current, and future, neighbors."

Thank you, Gene Bode
At the November BCE meeting, we celebrated the retirement of Gene Bode from the Board for Church Extension (BCE). Gene has faithfully served the BCE for the past 12 years and has served as the Chairman of the Board for the past six of those years. We are grateful for his dedicated service to this ministry and the Kingdom. Gene was presented a plaque in recognition of his service. Pictured below are Texas CEF Executive Director Becca Jones, Gene Bode, and Texas District President Mike Newman. "Well done, good and faithful servant."
Current CEF Building Projects
Pastor Bahn gives us a video update and tour of the construction in progress at St. John in Cypress!
How exciting! This week, new signs went up on the new buildings at Redeemer Lutheran School in Austin.
Rain has slowed construction of the new building addition at Peace Hewitt, but quite a lot of work has already been done to prepare the grounds.
You came for the rate. Now stay for the ministry!
The mission of the Texas District Church Extension Fund is to extend God’s Kingdom by boldly and responsibly assisting congregations to acquire land and buildings and by linking investors with congregations.
