GSGC’s Formula for Success: Fundamental #3 – A Giving Back Culture | |
Fostering a Giving Back Culture is one of nine fundamentals by which all GSGC clubs agree to operate. It is rooted in the African philosophy of “Ubuntu.” This Zulu word refers to the interconnectedness of all individuals within a society. It captures how each depends on the other, in ways big and small. | |

At our October meet up, we got to hear from Mentor Patrick Kazidi, who focusses on Creative & Performing Arts with Mugurameno Girls Club, Time + Tide Foundation in Zambia. He spoke about how his life changed for the better through mentorship support and how he knows his role supporting girls is bringing about wide-ranging change in his community.
