We're Thankful For You

Dear Hoboken,

We're thankful every day for each and every one of you who make our library a vibrant and welcoming community hub. We're thankful to our community for your unwavering support for libraries, and to our unwavering commitment to the freedom to read as a book sanctuary. We're thankful for the City of Hoboken's leadership in spearheading this initiative, and we're thankful that eight other libraries and municipalities in New Jersey have since declared themselves as book sanctuaries.

A special shout-out goes to those who joined us on our BookBike adventures throughout Hoboken—your support knows no bounds, and we appreciate your willingness to meet us wherever the BookBike was located. We can't wait to be back on the road next April!

Please note that the library will be closed from November 23 to November 26. However, even though our physical doors may be temporarily shut, our online collection remains accessible 24/7. This means you can continue to explore, learn, and enjoy the world of literature at your own convenience.

Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with joy, gratitude, and, of course, great reads!

Regards,

Jennie Pu

She's not ill, as far as anybody knows, but Flor does have a gift: she can predict, to the day, when someone will die. Has she foreseen her own death, or someone else's, or does she have other motives? She refuses to say. But Flor isn't the only person with secrets..."
