Dear Friends,
Thanksgiving always reminds how much this season is about gratitude, connection, and community. Every year, our ovens fill with the scent of apples, pecans, and butter, and our shop fills with familiar faces, neighbors picking up pies, friends sharing coffee, and families planning their holiday tables. It is one of our favorite times of year because it brings us all together.
We are deeply thankful to be part of this community that shows up, supports one another, and believes in keeping things local. From our annual pie donations to the laughter that fills the shop during Wings Night, you remind us daily why we do what we do.
As Small Business Saturday approaches, we are especially mindful of how much local support means to us and to every independent business in Skokie. Your decision to shop local this season makes a real difference, helping small businesses stay strong and allowing our community to thrive.

This Thanksgiving, let Kneads & Wants be part of your holiday table with our scratch-made pies, baked fresh with the flavors of the season. Quantities are limited, and we are nearly sold out of our beloved Butterscotch Custard Pie for the year, which is always the first to go.
Add a donation pie to your order to help us share fresh pies with local food pantries. Together, we have delivered hundreds of pies to neighbors in need, and your generosity ensures every family has something sweet to enjoy this holiday.

The Italian Beef was such a hit that we’re bringing it back again for Wings Night! We’re teaming up once more with Forza Meats, experts in authentic Chicago-style Italian beef. Their beef is slow-cooked for hours, sliced in-house, and piled high with handcrafted giardiniera and sweet peppers made from scratch.
At Kneads & Wants, our wings are always a fan favorite, crispy and gluten-free, made fresh to order with sauces like classic Buffalo, honey miso, and spicy Gochujang.
