Get ready to shine, ladies! Our December luncheon is bringing the magic with a fabulous live performance by the dazzling Whitney Grace and her unforgettable tribute to Liza Minnelli. Expect big energy, iconic hits, and plenty of sparkle — the perfect way to kick off a joyful holiday season together!

Hearts That Give, Holidays That Shine!

Our Holiday Charity Drive is in full swing, supporting the Toys for Kids program with the San Carlos Fire Department. This year, 48 families and 154 children are counting on our generosity — and together, we can make their holidays sparkle.
This season brings some extra needs, including 26 bikes that have been requested, which will take a sizable portion of available funds. There are also a few higher-cost items that will require additional financial support. Monetary donations help ensure every child receives something special.

How You Can Help:

Monetary donations: Make checks payable to Hearts of Miromar (note Toy Drive in the memo) and bring them to the December Luncheon or mail to Peggy Lotz, 9939 Isola Way (Tivoli).

Toy donations: Bring new, unwrapped toys to the December Luncheon or drop them off at Alyn’s (9933 St. Moritz) or Teri’s (11849 Via Novelli Ct, Murano).
Most-needed items:
• Soccer balls & basketballs
• Legos for older kids (12+)
• Hair tools for girls
• Personal hygiene kits for teen boys

Book Club Update!
We’re taking a little break this month, so there’s no November meeting. But get ready to dive back in on Monday, December 8, when Cathy Bellon leads our discussion on Rules of Civility by Amor Towles — a beautiful way to close out the year!
For those who love to read ahead, our next selection will be Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt, with Barb Day guiding the conversation on Monday, January 26.
