THE POWER OF YOUR HOUR
The Impact of a Volunteer This Giving Tuesday
Did you know...

DuPage County is home to over 3,000 nonprofit organizations? Can you imagine how many helping hands and hearts support these charities every year?

Our community relies on the generosity of hundreds of thousands of volunteers, donating millions of hours of time, to protect, enrich and empower lives.

This Giving Tuesday, we want our message to be about the power of your hour - how your time, skills, experience and commitment - make a huge impact.

For the next 30 days, we will post different volunteer ideas and other simple ways you can give back on Facebook and Twitter . To launch this generosity campaign, we've shared some ideas below too!

"Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve.

You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love."

DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.
