Good morning and welcome to another HERE FOR GOOD Digest, United Way of the Greater Capital Region (UWGCR)'s weekly newsletter. Giving Tuesday is just one week from today and we're completely blown away by the support our community is showing to our 34 ambassadors!

As of this morning, this dedicated group of individuals has already raised $15,556 since kicking off their individual giving campaigns one week ago.

Our ambassadors, who are connected to us through our Women United and Emerging Leaders United donor networks, are well on their way to achieving their goal of raising $100,000 by the end of Giving Tuesday. By supporting programs like the Summer Meals Collaborative, the Danny Dollar Academy, and our Family Neighborhood Resource Centers, these funds will empower UWGCR and our nearly 100 nonprofit partners to be an even greater force for good in the Capital Region and beyond.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of John J. Nigro from Nigro Properties, the first $5,000 in donations made on Giving Tuesday (November 28), will be matched! As a member of our Tocqueville Society, John has been a longtime supporter of UWGCR and we can't thank him enough for his continued generosity.

We encourage each of you to visit our Giving Tuesday website to get to know our ambassadors and support their efforts to help build a stronger, healthier, more resilient and equitable community for all.

Thank you for being HERE FOR GOOD!
