Giving Back to the Community

As you all know, Christ Trinity Church is devoted to taking every effort to give back to the community. In the next couple weeks there will be a handful of opportunities to attend fun events that are all asking for donations to go to the following local non-profits;

Looking Ahead

OWLEs May Adventure

On May 14th, the OWLEs will travel to Springwood,

home of FDR on the Hudson in Hyde Park, New York.

This outing will take most of the day with lots of fun activities to attend. There will be a tour of the home, a stroll through the gardens, local lunch, and fellowship with friends. To RSVP please contact Nancy King or Liz Wells.

Music Mountain honoring Peter Schuyten


On Sunday, June 8th, Music Mountain will be dedicating their concert in memory of our beloved Peter Schuyten. He was a member of the Mountain Music Board and a true lover of music.

Tickets are on sale now at the Music Mountain Website or contact their operations manager, Bethany Franklin, at (860) 836-6296 or operations@musicmountain.org to arrange for the purchase of seats.

Training for Lay Preachers


May 13 - Jun 3, 6:30pm

This spring we will be offering a four-week Zoom training for new or relatively new lay preachers. The sessions will be offered on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm - 7:45pm beginning May 13 and ending on June 3.


The facilitator of these gatherings will be the Rev. Steven Wilco, Canon to the Ordinary. Steven has worked at the national level on worship planning with the ELCA Churchwide Assembly, the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians, and the Institute of Liturgical Studies.
