GIVING OF OURSELVES

GIVING TO THOSE IN MATERIAL NEED

No matter what needs we may have of our own, there will always be someone who has less than we do. Realizing this fact as truth is especially important in our lives; it helps us to reject feelings of entitlement and embrace the principle of giving.

Last month we once again collected school supplies for children from needy families. This is one way our church enjoys sharing Christ's love with our community by meeting their material needs as well as their spiritual ones.
GIVING TO THOSE IN SPIRITUAL NEED

During the Covid lockdown God started showing us that there is a great need for an online church in our nation. There are large unchurched areas where there may be one or two believers, and no one qualified to lead a church. Some of these people began contacting us asking Mario to send them a team from our church to help teach and train them. Unfortunately, our church is not large enough to handle the level of requests coming in, so Mario began looking into how we could begin teaching and training these people online. Last week we held our first online service. It is an honor to serve these new brothers and sisters in the Lord. Please, pray with us that this ministry will grow and develop disciples that will evangelize in their cities and villages and begin planting churches in those areas.

GLOBAL ADVANCE

In May we had planned to host the annual conference for marketplace leaders that we out on annually with Global Advance, but when Covid happened we decided to host a short webinar instead and rescheduled the actual conference for the end of September. This year's conference will be different in that all of the keynote speakers are Croatians! Unfortunately, the speakers that were to come from the States are unable to travel. However, looking on the bright side, we praise the Lord for having sent us those from Global Advance in the past who have taught and trained up so many Croatians on ethics and how to do marketplace ministry. It is a great reward for us and them that this ministry is able to continue even if they are unable to physically attend.

OUR FAMILY...

...is doing well. All the kids are back in school. We now have 3 high-schoolers and just one in middle school! We received some exciting news last week when we received verbal affirmation that our home loan would be approved. Mario went this week to sign papers, and we should hear back again from the bank by the end of this month. The home we are purchasing is a one- level home built in 1996. There are a couple of renovations we will need to do, but we are so, so thankful to the Lord for giving us this miracle. We will share more about that with you next month. Until then, please continue to be in prayer with us that everything goes through as successfully as they have expected.

Croatian Evangelistic Outreach
