TURKEY FEAST FOR LATISHA's HOUSE

In the season of thanksgiving, we'd like to give a heartfelt thanks to New Zion Baptist and Saint Martin's Episcopal Church of Williamsburg for reaching out to our residents with thanksgiving lunch bags and dinner. The holidays can be a particularly difficult time for our residents, but when the community comes together to show they care, it truly has an impact. The residents are overwhelmed by the generosity of the community and we continually stand amazed at God's provision. A special thanks to Rev. Chuck and Leith Mullaly of Saint Martin's for providing a generous supply of meat to get through the holidays.

Thanks to the generous donations by a group of cadets from surrounding universities in Virginia and members of the community, "Team Latisha's House" finished strong for the cause.

  • The holiday season is not an easy time for Latisha's House residents. Many are not able to afford gifts, let alone ingredients to cook holiday meals. Although, we have received an overwhelming response for holiday meals and gifts for our residents, we still have needs and ways you can give back.

  • Click here to see the full list of our needs.

  • Are you shopping at Amazon for Black Friday? Make your online purchases through our AmazonSmile page - each time you shop, Amazon will donate to Latisha's House Foundation when you select "Latisha's House" as your charity.

  • Buy a Christmas Wreath handmade by our residents. 100% go directly back to survivors for their personal needs. See the Latisha's House Store.

  • Donate gift cards for CVS, Target or Walmart, No amount is too small, and a donation will allow residents to buy what they need the most.
An encounter with a prostitute on the streets of Chicago led to the restoration of a young ladies life, Latisha. She, like too many young ladies, was part of the sex trafficking industry at a young age. Watching the redemption of her life inspired a home dedicated to the restoration of other young ladies lives.  Read more about Latisha's story and the beginning of Latisha's House.
T here are many ways to get involved with Latisha's house. Become a monthly "friend", "Dine-In" and donate the cost of what that dining out would be; volunteer and teach a class, become a mentor, share your life's passion--art, music, engineering, wildlife, gardening, and donate milk, eggs, cheese, orange juice and grocery items from your shopping to share.
