Giving Tuesday is December 3 and is a global movement that encourages generosity and giving back to your community. In the spirit of giving, we encourage you to learn more about the organizations that support Redwood City Public Library. Perhaps you will be inspired to give to one or all?
The Friends of the Redwood City Public Library operates the resale bookstore located in the lobby of the Downtown Library and the kiosk at the Redwood Shores Branch Library. Proceeds from donations and the sale of books, music and movies at the store and at community events are the source of funding for a wide array of library programs. Since 1998 the Redwood City Library Foundation has raised millions to provide funding for important library initiatives. The Foundation is currently funding Career Online High School, Bridging the Digital Divide, our Bienvenidos service and more. For more information, visit: www.rclfdn.org
