November is a time for giving thanks for our friends, family and community. We are thankful for the meaningful work our staff puts into serving our community and for the endless joy our customers bring us as we see them in the Library and out in the community.
As we wrap up our RCPL Listens sessions this week, we wanted to thank our community for the invaluable input they have given us over 15 sessions. RCPL Listens has provided an opportunity for community members to share their aspirations to help shape the Library’s service priorities for 2023 and beyond. We encourage you to sign up for our last session, via Zoom, tomorrow November 16, at 6 pm.
Reflecting on our gratitude in the context of the Thanksgiving holiday, we encourage everyone to pause to recognize November as Native American Heritage Month, when we honor the sacrifices, history, heritage and important figures of this nation’s indigenous peoples. The Library has a reading list to help you learn more.
Last but not least, we are taking a break from eNews next week, so we wish you a very happy and healthy holiday week.
