As a Friend of the Global Wheelchair Program we want to let you know about a unique initiative we are participating in this holiday season called GivingTuesday.
We are sharing information with you in this special edition newsletter in advance of the date, December 2nd. We hope you will find a way to contribute that is meaningful to you.

On Tuesday, December 2, 2014, charities, families, businesses, community centers and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.
GivingTuesday was established in 2012 by the UN Foundation with the intent of encouraging people to take action around causes they are passionate about. The Tuesday that follows 'Black Friday' and 'Cyber Monday' was purposefully chosen to capture people's attention.

Doubling your money is always appealing and we are giving you the chance to do just that on December 2nd!
We are thrilled to announce that with the help of generous sponsors donations will be matched on GivingTuesday. All new online donations received on Tuesday, December 2nd will be matched, so for each dollar you donate, we will receive $2. We currently have commitments for up to $4,000, putting us very close to our goal of $5,000!
