Glade Springs Village Property Owners,

Winter has shown up with a vengeance. We will continue to monitor the Stonehaven golf course around the weather for playability and notify the members. Remember the course will be available to POA members with a private cart 2023 POA trail pass until the starter house opens for business.

The 2024 combined trail pass is now available for purchase at the Woodhaven golf shop. The pricing for the trail pass for 2024 is $650.00 plus tax. The cart lease is $1,300.00 plus tax and is also available for purchase. As usual, each includes one WVVIP discount card and yearly handicap service through GHIN. We will also be selling the prepaid cart fee and prepaid guest fee cards that are buy 10 get 2 so you will receive 12 total rounds for the price of 10. The golf shop will be utilizing physical punch cards this season that the member must provide at check-in. These passes are non-transferable to other members or guests. The members must be present at check-in. Please call ahead in the off-season for daily hours at the golf shop.

The Stonehaven course will be open, weather permitting, and CART PATH ONLY. The grounds maintenance staff will be sending out text messages with information if the course is open for play. If the weather is going to be unfavorable, there may be days the course will be open to private carts with trail passes ONLY but rental carts will not be available until further notice. This allows us to minimize payroll and staffing and try to increase profitability in the off-season. Staff will be monitoring the weather and course conditions in February to see if we can get an early start to the season.

The 2024 golf season will be here before you know it. I have found several new products at the PGA Merchandise Show and can’t wait to have them arrive in the spring! Come and visit the golf shop when Woodhaven opens on April 1, 2024, to see our new inventory and stock up.

The golf staff will continue to enforce and explain the golf rules as approved by the GSVPOA Board of Directors and posted on the POA website in September. (GSVPOA Golf Enforcement Policy Link ). Please be aware our staff will do our best to explain and answer any questions as they arise with enforcement.

All private carts using a trail pass must have their 2023 trail pass displayed on the cart they are using when playing Stonehaven in the winter months.

The online tee time system is working, and members can book online again. Please follow these directions and if you have any questions, please email matt.felber@gladespringspoa.com.

Go to the website (gladespringspoa.com) and click on the member

tee times at the top.

Click on login/sign-up

Fill out the right-hand side information under "sign-up"

Save the information and then log out and then log back in and it will take you to the member side.

If you have any questions let me know.

Important information - the username must be the email currently on file. Please remember that all carts should be on the cart paths around tees and greens and all par 3 holes are always cart paths only. We are still receiving complaints and images of our POA members and guests being too close to the green. Please do not drive on the opposite side of the green from where the path is located. This traffic will continue to wear areas in the rough around the greens. This is especially important in the cold weather months when the grass isn’t growing. When you approach the green complex please proceed to the path.

For those POA members that are interested in taking advantage of booking online please email matt.felber@gladespringspoa.com or tyler.farley@gladespringspoa.com and we will reset your online access and update your username and password. This will be a great opportunity as we have recently installed our new software. The new system has many additional functions that will be integrated as we bring it online.

Please scan the available QR code at the Stonehaven Starter House or Woodhaven Proshop. Please answer the questions in the first text so we can update your information and edit our text database. This system will be utilized for cart rules, exciting new information, and other direct-to-member texts.

Thank You,

Matt Felber, PGA
