The Caps & Cribs Teen Mom Mentoring Program is in Need of a Volunteer Mentor
The Caps & Cribs Teen Mom Mentoring program at Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies is in need of a volunteer mentor in the Belle Glade area to provide support and encouragement to a local teen mom. Mentors connect with mentees once a week to empower them to stay in school and plan their future, all while raising a child. Training and resources will be provided to help build a relationship of trust and confidence that will last a lifetime.
Minimum age to mentor is 25. Mentors must be a resident of Palm Beach County, have a driver's license, pass a background check, and complete training. There is one training before being matched.

Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control Joins NBCU Local’s Annual ‘Clear The Shelters’ Pet Adoption & Donation Campaign This August. For the duration of this campaign, PBCACC will be waiving adoption fees to help find homes for as many furry
friends as possible! These nationwide adoption initiatives are incredibly helpful for open admission shelters like PBCACC that are consistently overcrowded and trying to make sure there are plenty of open kennels for the homeless pets that are brought in day after day
