The Glades Initiative's Food Pantry is available to anyone in need. Residents may come in once per week at any time during the hours listed below. In a “Pantry of Choice”, you choose the foods that you want and need (within guidelines).


Required to participate:

• ONE time per week

Auditions for Princess and the Pea at the Dolly Hand


Auditions will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of THE

PRINCESS AND THE PEA on Monday, September 11th at the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Those auditioning should arrive at 3:30 PM to pre-register and should plan to stay for the full two hours. PEPPI Head Start is now enrolling students. If you have a 3- to 5-year-old and want them to have a place for them to go for the summer, PEPPI Head Start offers year-round services to children and families within the community. This online tool was created to connect individuals seeking food resources to sites near them. Information is English, Spanish, and Creole. United Way updates the information listed on this map weekly. However, locations and hours of distribution may change. Alyssa Sangeeta Jacobson 2023 Scholarship Recipients Announced


Friends of Youth Services and Palm Beach County, Inc. has announced the 2023 Alyssa Sangeeta Jacobson Scholarship recipients. This year two recipients were named, including a student from Glades Central. The awarded scholarship provides $2,000 a year, distributed over two semesters to each recipient. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, depending on the degree or certificate program.
