The Glades Initiative Offers a New Program to Improve Women's Health!
The Glades Initiative's Women's Health Care Program provides many services to clients:
- Guide patients through the health care system
- Assist in the process of obtaining medical insurance as needed
- Facilitate referrals for mammogram screenings and pap smears
- Work with patients with abnormal mammograms, biopsies, or pap smear
- And much more

The Glades Initiative's Food Pantry is available to anyone in need. Residents may come in once per week at any time during the hours listed below. In a “Pantry of Choice”, you choose the foods that you want and need (within guidelines).

An interactive tool using Google Maps to help people easily locate free food and hot meals in Palm Beach County. This online tool was created to connect individuals seeking food resources to sites near them. Information is English, Spanish, and Creole. United Way updates the information listed on this map weekly. However, locations and hours of distribution may change. If you or people you know need masks, The Glades Initiative has masks and will share them with anyone in the Glades who needs them. These are the white two-ply reusable washable masks given by the health department. Call or come by to pick them up as long as supplies last.
If you are with a group of vulnerable people and need more than 20, call us first and we will do our best to help you get what you need.
