Students, Submit Drawing for Town of Palm Beach United Way's School Drive Logo Contest
Students can submit a drawing depicting the Town of Palm Beach United Way’s annual School Supply Drive. The design will appear on next year’s School Supply Drive webpage, flyers, print advertising and social media. The winning student will also receive a $200 Amazon Gift Card. To participate, students 18 years and under must submit their original drawing with a brief description of what they created and why. They must also include their age, what school they attend, and their contact information (phone, email and address).

Children who experience trauma are at increased risk for long-term challenges with physical health, emotions, behavior, and learning. Fortunately, professionals can help mitigate these effects by fostering resilience and building trauma-informed environments. In this training, we will clarify common trauma terms and distinguish between traumatic events and how individuals experience them. We’ll examine how trauma impacts youth and families, and share practical, strengths-based strategies for restoring a sense of control and empowerment.

Enroll for Phlebotomy Technician Training Course at PBSC
This course is designed for the individual seeking a healthcare credential in the field of Phlebotomy. Participants will gain the knowledge and laboratory skills to perform a variety of blood collection methods and techniques required to become a phlebotomist. Classroom and skills laboratory instruction will also include a basic review of concepts related to anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, infection control, handling, and storage. Upon completion of this course participants will be prepared to take the Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification and earn the CPT credential.

Join English and Spanish Triple P Information Session
Center for Family Services is excited to offer virtual Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) Information Sessions for parents, caregivers, and professionals interested in learning more about Triple P and Teen Triple P. Triple P and Teen Triple P are FREE programs that provide parents simple and practical strategies to help them build strong, healthy relationships and confidently manage their children and teenagers' behavior.

Mothers in the Muck Presents: Biweekly Diaper Distribution Program
Starting this month, Mothers in the Muck be alternating between BRIDGES at Pahokee and BRIDGES at Belle Glade to help families access essential baby supplies while staying connected to community support and resources. Reminder: To continue receiving diapers on a biweekly basis, moms must attend at least 2 MITM events each month. Check out the flyer for dates, locations, and details.

Food Distribution at MLK Park in Pahokee
Restoration Bridge International and partners are offering a FREE food distribution on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Distributed items include meats, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, canned goods, and dry goods. Everyone is welcome to receive food.

Protect Your Home and Legacy: Free Legal Help for Eligible Homeowners in Palm Beach County
The goal of the Heirs’ Property Family Wealth Protection Fund project is to preserve generational wealth and promote community stability by providing legal services to eligible homeowners, such as the creation of estate plans, wills, deeds, and the clearing of tangled property titles. All services will be 100% free of cost to eligible property owners.
WHEN: Services will be available through September 30, 2026, or until funds are expended, whichever occurs first.

Becoming a partner of the Town of Palm Beach United Way allows nonprofit agencies to receive annual program funding, and the credibility that comes with their brand. Nonprofits must become Town of Palm Beach United Way partners before applying for program funding. Partnership status is reviewed annually and is granted at the sole discretion of the Town of Palm Beach United Way. Please see eligibility and process overview below.

Centro Campesino Presents: Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)
The Weatherization Assistance Program is intended to reduce the monthly energy burden on low-income households by improving the energy efficiency of the home. This service is provided at no cost to eligible Low-income homeowners or tenants. Weatherization includes: repair or replace of heating/cooling units and water heaters, installation of solar screens, and more. Eligible Applicants: The total household income may not be more than 200 percent above the national poverty level.
