Here at The Glades Initiative, we believe that no one should suffer from hunger. Our Glades Area Food Bank distributes culturally-specific food to thousands of local families each year through our network of 14 partner agencies throughout Belle Glade, Pahokee, and South Bay.

Your Health Matters - Health Literacy Workshop Series
Health Literacy is the ability a person has that helps them find, manage, understand, and use basic health information and services to make appropriate health decisions. Topics include: Your Healthcare, Your Doctor, Your Medicine, Nutrition, and Staying Healthy. Open to all. 18+participants should attend all three sessions. This workshop is in English, contact us to schedule a workshop in Spanish.
