The Glades Initiative Annual Potluck & Gift Exchange 
The Glades Initiative invites partners and friends to its annual Holiday Potluck and Gift Exchange! Bring a food dish and join us as we celebrate the holidays in good company. Following the potluck, we will have a gift exchange. If you would like to participate, bring a wrapped gift suitable for a man or woman valued at $10 or more. Everyone is welcome, but limited seating is available. RSVP today with number of guests and food dish you plan to bring.

Home Health Aide Open House at West Tech
West Tech announces a Medical Sciences Home Health Aide Open House. Registration opens in December. Students have the option of attending a 12-week day program (Monday-Friday) or a 15-week evening program (Monday-Thursday). Learn to Grow Food at Home During the Holidays
Celebrate the Holidays while learning about organic gardening from "Farmer Alex", a retired boat builder of English and Jamaican origin. He's a Master Gardener, an expert on sprouting, container gardening using grow bags, growing herbs, composting and community gardening. He's an inspirational speaker with a great sense of humor, frequently speaking at health stores and at community events like fresh markets. He will be joining our holiday celebration by giving a lively and interactive talk and demonstrating the basics of growing your own food.
Doors will open at 12 noon with holiday cheer, light refreshments and an opportunity to learn about Nearby Nature in the Glades. Farmer Alex will begin his 2-hr workshop at 1 pm.
Due to limited seating, RSVP is recommended.
