The Glades Initiative's Food Pantry is available to anyone in need. Residents may come in once per week at any time during the hours listed below. In a “Pantry of Choice”, you choose the foods that you want and need (within guidelines).

• Valid ID or your Glades Initiative Food Pantry ID

• ONE time per week

Youth Services 2024 Summer Camp Scholarship Program Parent Applications Now Open


The Summer Camp Scholarship Program offers eligible children, ages 5-17, a full

and file their return for free. The campaign which will enter its twenty-first year on

January 18, 2024 is an invaluable service to the community.

For your information, the event will be held this year on Saturday, August 3, 2024. In addition to the backpacks and school supplies, and depending on the location and resource availability, participating students may also receive haircuts, school uniforms, sneakers,

socks, blood tests, biometric health screenings, vision screening, hearing tests, and other health-related resources.

In Need of Masks? Contact The Glades Initiative, Inc.


If you or people you know need masks, The Glades Initiative has masks and will share them with anyone in the Glades who needs them. Call or come by to pick them up as long as supplies last. 


If you are with a group of vulnerable people and need more than 20, call us first and we will do our best to help you get what you need.
