Mature Driver Course at West County Senior Center

The PBC Division of Senior Services (DOSS) invites older adults 55 years of age and older to its Mature Driver Insurance Discount Course. The State of Florida mandates an insurance discount for licensed drivers 55 years old or older who complete a 'State approved' driver improvement course. Pre-registration is required. This course will allow seniors to save up to 15% off their insurance premium.

CareerSource Accepting Career Prep Applications

The Young Adult program at CareerSource Palm Beach County is accepting applications for their Career Prep program scheduled to begin on March 9th. Career Prep is a 5-week intensive work-readiness program geared towards young adults ages 17 - 24 who are not enrolled in school nor employed. Candidates must be motivated and committed to attend Monday - Thursday, 9am - 3pm, for five (5) weeks and meet eligibility and suitability criteria.
