Teen Social VIBES TeenVibes

All teens between 12-18 years of are reproductive health education or have unanswered questions are invited to attend the Teen Social VIBES Clinic. Health Care Providers will be available to provide exams and confidential counseling. Teen Social VIBES is held Wednesday, February 7th & 21st @ 3pm-6pm. Pick up transportation provided to attend and free bus pass for return home transportation. No appointment is needed, refreshments will be provided, prizes and gifts with participation, and community services hours will be provided

The Annie Moses Band Is Coming To the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center

The Annie Moses Band has been inspiring and entertaining audiences with its captivating blend of folk and classical music for over a decade. Attention Local Agencies: Are You Interested in Becoming a Summer Food Site?

Youth Services is a Summer Food sponsor that allows sites with refrigerators, running water, bathroom facilities and place to eat to serve breakfast, lunch and/or snacks (up to 2 meals) to children under the age of 18 in Palm Beach County. The program  would like to expand its reach to ensure that all children are receiving nutritious meals. Please contact the person below if you know of agencies, churches and organizations that would like free meals distributed to their site to serve the population.

A Guide for Students Facing Expulsion from Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County

The Expulsion Project is a special program provided by the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County with the support of the School Board of Palm Beach County. This program provides free legal services to families who meet the income requirement and are faced with the expulsion of their child. Expulsion means the removal of the right of a student to attend any public school in Palm Beach County for a period of time not to exceed the remainder of the term or school year and one additional year.

Attention Workshop Presenters: Seeking Proposals for 8th Palm Beach County Youth Summit

Please contact us if you are interested in submitting a workshop proposal for the 8th Annual Youth Summit at Palm Beach Lakes High School on April 28, 2018. Areas that will be considered include: gangs and crime prevention, substance abuse, career development, scholarships and schools, healthy relationships, and trauma informed. PBSO Curriculum for Teachers: Too Good for Drugs

Geared towards Elementary School students. Sheriff Bradshaw has offered to buy Too Good for Drugs curriculum for any teacher who attends a ½ day training put on by Dr. Klarich.  Dr. Klarich will come to the school and train all school teachers. Any teacher who attends the training will receive a curriculum for their classroom (valued at $150.00) with the understanding that they will begin to teach the curriculum when they receive it.  The curriculum can be taught within 30 minutes a week, once a week, for a 10 week block.  The curriculum teaches social and emotional learning which has been proven to reduce drug use in children as they get older.
