We hope that the flexibility of our new “Pantry of Choice” hours helps us to serve you better. You may come to shop in the food pantry once per week at any time during open hours. In a “Pantry of Choice”, you choose the foods that you want and need (within guidelines)! Food will no longer be distributed outside.

• ONE time per week

PBC Summer Camp Scholarships Available Now
Do you have a child, or do you know a child, who would benefit from summer camp? Now is the time to apply for scholarships, available on a first-come, first-served basis to more than 2,000 Palm Beach County children. The Summer Camp Scholarship Program provides full tuition and fees for summer camp for children residing in families with income at or below 150% of Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Applications Accepted for OCR's FY2023 NEAT Grant
Palm Beach County’s Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) is accepting applications for its Neighborhood Engagement and Transformation (NEAT) grants program. It provides grants of up to $10,000 to neighborhood based groups and/or organizations for resident-driven neighborhood improvement projects proposed within unincorporated Palm Beach County and the Lake Region municipalities of Belle Glade, South Bay and Pahokee. Priority funding will be given to projects proposed in designated Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) areas.

The Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) is excited to announce that registration for the 2022 Back to School PBC! is now OPEN! As in the past, registration is by invitation only,
and eligible students must register at www.backtoschoolpbc.org before Sunday, May 15, 2022 to be able to participate in the event. To be eligible to register, students must reside in one of our designated neighborhoods or in any mobile home park in unincorporated Palm Beach County.

Health Care District of PBC Distributes N95 Masks to Primary Care Clinic Patients
The Health Care District of Palm Beach County is distributing 10,000 N95 face
masks to adult patients at the ten C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics across the county.
The Health Care District’s primary care clinics, which serve adults and children, are
Federally Qualified Health Centers located in areas of need. Patients are interested in the
face masks for themselves and family members and are receiving them at no charge.

This online tool was created to connect individuals seeking food resources to sites near them. Information is English, Spanish, and Creole. Carbonell Awards Seek College-Bound Applicants for 2022 Scholarships - Theater/Journalism Students
Jeff Kiltie, board president of the Carbonell Awards, South Florida’s Theatre & Arts Honors, today announced that the nonprofit organization has extended the deadline to February 14 for college-bound high school students applying for its 2022 Jack Zink Memorial Student Scholarships. Since 1978, the Carbonell Awards has given out more than $110,000 in scholarships to winning applicants.

Friends of Youth Services Opens Alyssa Sangeeta Jacobson Scholarship for 2022 Academic Year
Friends of Youth Services and Palm Beach County, Inc. announces the call for applications for the 2022 Alyssa Sangeeta Jacobson Scholarship. The Alyssa Sangeeta Jacobson Scholarship is dedicated to those who need a little extra assistance in achieving educational goals. The scholarship provides $1,000 per year, distributed over two semesters to each recipient, and is renewable for up to four years, depending on the degree or certificate program.

$2 Million Available through County for Residential Construction Serving Low-Income Households
On March 1, 2022, Palm Beach County Department of Housing & Economic Development (DHED) will make available $2,114,290 in Impact Fee Affordable Housing Assistance Program (IFAHAP) funding from its Fiscal Year 2021 funding cycle. For the payment of Roads, Parks, and Public Building impact fees for residential construction serving households with incomes no greater than 140% of Area Median Income.
