Free Scam Protection for PBC Homeowners
If you own a home in Palm Beach County and/or work with clients who do, the Palm Beach County Clerk’s Office offers a free property fraud alert service that will send you an email notification when a document is recorded in the official property records of Palm Beach County that exactly matches the name, address or parcel number you register. This is a useful tool that will alert you if someone creates a fraudulent document that will deed your home to them and then records that document in the official records.

Palm Beach County Residents may qualify to have the exterior of their house painted for free through the non-profit, Paint Your Heart Out Palm Beach County. There are no strings attached, only a few requirements. Proof of home ownership will be required if your home is selected for the program. Applications Being Accepted for OCR’s FY-2027 NEAT Grants Program
The Neighborhood Engagement and Transformation (NEAT) grants program provides grants of up to $10,000 to neighborhood-based groups and/or organizations for resident-driven neighborhood improvement projects proposed within designated Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) areas and the Glades region, including the municipalities of Belle Glade, South Bay and Pahokee. Potential applicants must attend a mandatory pre-application conference on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Confirmation of attendance must be received no later than March 9, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
Application deadline is Thursday, May 14, 2026.

Latinx Adults Residing in Rural Florida Are Invited to Participate in DORMIR Study - $150 Compensation
The main purpose of the University of Miami's DORMIR study is to assess how insufficient sleep contributes to negative cardiovascular health outcomes, particularly in rural Floridian communities for their recruitment efforts. These findings can lead to actionable clinical, lifestyle, and policy interventions that can improve the health of the Latino and Latina community. Visits are fully remote. If eligible, up to $150 is available for compensation for participation.
