Free Legal Help for Eligible Homeowners in Palm Beach County
The goal of the Heirs’ Property Family Wealth Protection Fund project is to preserve generational wealth and promote community stability by providing legal services to eligible homeowners, such as the creation of estate plans, wills, deeds, and the clearing of tangled property titles. All services will be 100% free of cost to eligible property owners.
WHEN: Services will be available beginning June 1, 2025, through September of 2026, or until funds are expended, whichever occurs first.

FDOT Invites Belle Glade Residents to Public Meeting
The resurfacing project involves State Road 717/East Canal St. from S.R. 80 to SE Ave E and S.R. 15/S.R. 80 from Dr. MLK Jr Blvd to West Avenue A. 33rd Annual Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s Scholarship Application Now Open!
Six college scholarships of $1,500 each will be awarded to graduating Palm Beach County high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited higher-education institution full time, regardless of intended major or field of study. Applications Being Accepted for OCR’s FY-2027 NEAT Grants Program
The Neighborhood Engagement and Transformation (NEAT) grants program provides grants of up to $10,000 to neighborhood-based groups and/or organizations for resident-driven neighborhood improvement projects proposed within designated Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) areas and the Glades region, including the municipalities of Belle Glade, South Bay and Pahokee. Potential applicants must attend a mandatory pre-application conference on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Confirmation of attendance must be received no later than March 9, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
Letter of Intent is due on Thursday, April 9, 2026

Free Scam Protection for PBC Homeowners
If you own a home in Palm Beach County and/or work with clients who do, the Palm Beach County Clerk’s Office offers a free property fraud alert service that will send you an email notification when a document is recorded in the official property records of Palm Beach County that exactly matches the name, address or parcel number you register. This is a useful tool that will alert you if someone creates a fraudulent document that will deed your home to them and then records that document in the official records.
