MLK Parade and Memorial Celebration Observance
The MLK Parade makes its return to Belle Glade. Line up will be at Lake Shore Middle School. The Celebration Observance will commence immediately after the parade on the Loading Ramp. Santonio Holmes, Super Bowl MVP, will be the speaker.

Glades PATCH Meeting - Open to All
The Glades PATCH (Planned Approach To Community Health) is a program designed to help the community evaluate, plan and implement health education and disease prevention and intervention programs. PATCH helps promote the health of the community to include the social, emotional and physical well-being of its citizens. PATCH is a partnership of concerned citizens and organizations. This partnership provides a forum for identifying health problems affecting the community and mobilizing the community to plan, conduct and evaluate intervention services. The meeting is open to all who wish to join.

DATE CHANGE: Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid Training, help trains individual to understand and respond to people in distress. Attendees will be more aware and informed of what Mental illness is and is not. Mental Health First Aid Course teaches people how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses; and substance use disorders in their community and also where they can turn for help. The course will be offered in 2 sessions of two (4 hours, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm). Attendees must complete the full 8 hours in order to receive certification for the course.
