Free Summer Lunches for Kids at the Library
Beginning Tue, Jun 02 through Fri, Jul 24, all Library System locations will serve nutritious meals to help keep kids fueled for fun and learning all summer long. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, and afternoon snacks are available from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Snacks are available MON - THU, 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM at Belle Glade, Clarence E. Anthony and Loula V. York Branches.

Apply for Disaster Resilient Florida for Young Adults
Disaster Resilient Florida is a no-cost 4-week virtual intensive for young adults (ages 18-25). Participants use real local data and GIS mapping tools to investigate disaster risk in their own neighborhoods, then turn their findings into published, public-facing stories. No tech experience required - just curiosity about where they live. Everyone who completes the program walks away with hands-on GIS and data storytelling skills, a published ArcGIS StoryMap for their portfolio, and a micro-credential in data civics and mapping.

Auditions for The Little Mermaid at Dolly Hand are on July 20th
We’re excited to welcome back Missoula Children’s Theatre for a week of imagination, creativity, and live performance! Need Help While Facing Cancer? Referrals for Support Are Available Now!
The Glades Open Table Network is accepting referrals for residents who are currently battling cancer and may need additional support. Available assistance may include:
Transportation to medical appointments, Utility bill assistance (electricity, water, telephone), gas, car payments, or car repairs, and regular check-ins and support. Due to limited funding, rental assistance is not available at this time. Please help us spread the word so we can support community members during their cancer journey.
