Children who experience trauma are at increased risk for long-term challenges with physical health, emotions, behavior, and learning. Fortunately, professionals can help mitigate these effects by fostering resilience and building trauma-informed environments. For over 30 years, College for Kids has been dedicated to empowering local youth by providing FREE scholarship and mentorship programs to help students attend college or trade school. They currently serve over 700 students, including many within the Glades area. If a student is interested in scholarship and mentorship opportunities, please see the flyer below with more information about their programs.
