Funding Available to Assist Income-Eligible Applicants/Households to Acquire their First Home
Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development (DEHED) announced the availability of $3,000,000 in the HOME Investment Partnership First-Time Homebuyer Program. Funding will provide up to $100,000 (including acquisition, new construction, down payment, and closing costs) that will be used for the applicants' primary place of residence. Eligible locations and processes when purchasing desired properties will be shared during the orientation. Portal will close once 100 applications have been submitted or on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

The Florida Department of Health is excited to invite you to a special Wellness Screening event! Our mobile health unit will be on-site, staffed with a dedicated team including a Nurse, Medical Assistant, Physician, and Disease Intervention Specialists, all ready to provide you with essential health services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take charge of your health! Whether you have questions about your wellness or need a routine check-up, professionals are there to help. Plus, everyone who participates will receive a goody bag as a token of appreciation!

Applications Are Now Being Accepted for HeadStart Programs
Give your child a Head Start! The Head Start programs foster children’s growth through services that support early-learning development, health, and family well-being. Serving eligible families on a year-round basis, all Head Start and Early Start services are available at no cost. The District offers Head Start at 10 schools and Early Head Start at one school. Applications are now being accepted for 3 and 4-year-olds, with priority given to 4-year-olds with VPK experience.
