Mental Illness Workshop

One in five adults in the U.S. experience a mental illness in a given year. Youth (ages 13-18) experience rates comparable to this. Unfortunately, the data also show that a significant number of those affected are not treated or are inadequately treated. With a commitment to a "no wrong-door approach" to behavioral health services, we know that understanding the resources available is critically important in making the right referrals and helping those we serve and work with in our community access the most appropriate systems of care.

Please join us for a valuable information session with Lindsay Slattery-Cerny, MSW, Regional Suicide Prevention Specialist, from Florida Linking Individuals Needing Care (FL LINC Project) and the Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network (SEFBHN).
