Free Summer Lunches for Kids at the Library
Beginning Tue, Jun 02 through Fri, Jul 24, all Library System locations will serve nutritious meals to help keep kids fueled for fun and learning all summer long. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, and afternoon snacks are available from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Snacks are available MON - THU, 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM at Belle Glade, Clarence E. Anthony and Loula V. York Branches. There will be no lunch or snack service on Thu, Jun 18, Fri, Jun 19, Thu, Jul 02, or Fri, Jul 03 in observance of Juneteenth and Independence Day.

This free one-day course is open to everyone ages 18 and older. Upon completion, participants receive a three-year certification. This training is highly recommended for anyone working in substance abuse and/or mental health field including Peer Specialists, Recovery Coaches, and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs). Students, Submits Drawing for Palm Beach United Way's School Drive Logo Contest
Students can submit a drawing depicting the Town of Palm Beach United Way’s annual School Supply Drive. The design will appear on next year’s School Supply Drive webpage, flyers, print advertising and social media. The winning student will also receive a $200 Amazon Gift Card. To participate, students 18 years and under must submit their original drawing with a brief description of what they created and why. They must also include their age, what school they attend, and their contact information (phone, email and address).

NOFA Emergency Repairs Program Open Now!
Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development announces the availability of approximately $2,300,000 in the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Emergency Repairs Program. Funding will provide up to $75,000 to assist low income eligible owner-occupied residences to address emergency conditions such as roofing, electrical, plumbing, hurricane hardening (impact windows, doors, etc.) and structural repairs for residents age 62 and older, veterans and/or special needs applicants. Call for Volunteers for 2026 Back to School PBC! Event
The Palm Beach County Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) is calling on residents, community partners, and service-minded volunteers to step forward and support the Back to School PBC! 2026 Event. The event will be hosted at multiple locations across Palm Beach County. Volunteers are needed for the event setup on Friday, July 31st, and the event day operations on Saturday, August 1st; with the greatest need for hands-on support during the main day at the Convention Center. Volunteers supporting Saturday’s event must be 18 years of age or older.

Protect Your Home and Legacy: Free Legal Help for Eligible Homeowners in Palm Beach County
The goal of the Heirs’ Property Family Wealth Protection Fund project is to preserve generational wealth and promote community stability by providing legal services to eligible homeowners, such as the creation of estate plans, wills, deeds, and the clearing of tangled property titles. All services will be 100% free of cost to eligible property owners.
WHEN: Services will be available through September 30, 2026, or until funds are expended, whichever occurs first.

Domestic Violence Coordinated Community Response (DV CCR) “Did You Know” Awareness Campaign
This community awareness effort highlights the following topics: Improving Crime Justice Response (ICJR) initiative and the Domestic Violence Coordinated Community Response (DV CCR). Below are several flyers that are part of the DV CCR's "Did You Know" campaign. These materials were developed to increase public awareness of domestic violence, educate community members about warning signs and available resources, and connect victims and survivors with local support services. Some of the flyers include QR codes that direct individuals to additional information and local resources, including the DV CCR website and other victim service resources.

Centro Campesino Presents: Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)
The Weatherization Assistance Program is intended to reduce the monthly energy burden on low-income households by improving the energy efficiency of the home. This service is provided at no cost to eligible Low-income homeowners or tenants. Weatherization includes: repair or replace of heating/cooling units and water heaters, installation of solar screens, and more. Eligible Applicants: The total household income may not be more than 200 percent above the national poverty level.
