Food4OurKids Summer Program

The Palm Beach County Food Bank (PBCFB) is now accepting applications for the summer portion of Food4OurKids!

The summer portion of Food4OurKids provides takes place during the summer months when children are out of school and there may be less access to food programs that families rely on during the school year.  PBCFB provides backpacks and shelf-stable food to camp sites to distribute to their campers each Friday afternoon.  The backpack contains enough food to sustain the child and the child's family for the weekend.

Last year the program took place at 32 camp sites, and served 2,500 children. This year PBCFB hopes to serve 3,000 children and their families.

The 2017 application for the summer portion of Food4OurKids can be found here: Click here
The application will be open until 11:59:59 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017.

By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program. Every Toastmasters journey begins with a single speech. During their journey, they learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer. They plan and lead. They give feedback-and accept it.
