Send your kid to school on Monday ready to learn! Kits include healthy, easy-to-prepare

Farm and Food Worker Relief Program


PBC Community Action in partnership with Coalition of Florida Farmworker Organization, Inc. is assisting in providing this one time $600 payment from the USDA to eligible farmworkers. The relief is intended to defray costs for reasonable and necessary personal, family or living expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic. These payment will be available to eligible farm and food workers who performed work in farming activities and meatpacking during the period 1/27/2020 – 05/9/2023. Workers will need to provide sufficient proof of employment during the period and also identity when applying.

Today, the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) has launched a portal to collect information from Floridians and other Americans who may be trapped in Haiti. Gang violence and rapidly escalating instability has caused severe political unrest in Haiti, putting Americans in the country at risk. Floridians in Haiti or their family members can fill out the

questionnaire on the portal to let the state know of immediate needs.
